Pally Alley Dilly Dally - Original

Pally Alley Dilly Dally draws on Dan Flores’ memories of the close-knit community of his childhood, where neighbours, friends and familiar faces became an extended family. Women were affectionately known as ‘aunty’, children played together in the street, and there was a shared sense of looking out for one another.

Capturing a collection of characters and everyday interactions, this piece reflects Dan’s wider fascination with people and the relationships that shape us, while also looking back at a kind of community he feels has gradually disappeared.
