Portrait Sessions with Dan & Serg
Dan & Serg offer bespoke portrait sessions for individuals, couples and creatives looking for something more personal than a traditional photoshoot.
Each session is approached as a creative collaboration, creating a series of carefully considered portraits that capture personality, presence and individuality.
Relaxed and intuitive rather than overly posed, the experience allows space for unexpected moments to emerge - resulting in photographs that feel expressive, intimate and distinctly your own.
The Portrait Session
Every session begins with a conversation. Together, you'll discuss the ideas, mood and setting for the shoot, whether you already have a clear vision in mind or would prefer to be guided by Dan & Serg. Sessions can take place in the studio, at home or in a location that has particular meaning to you.
Serg's approach to portraiture is rooted in observation and connection. Rather than simply documenting how someone looks, he is interested in character: gesture, expression, body language and those fleeting moments when something of the person behind the portrait reveals itself.
Following your session, you'll receive a carefully edited selection of images from which to choose your final portraits. Additional photographs are available as high-resolution digital files or professionally produced fine-art prints.

Commissioned Paintings
For those who want to take the collaboration further, a photograph from your sitting can become the starting point for an original painting by Dan.
Rather than simply reproducing the photograph in paint, Dan interprets the image through his own artistic language, introducing colour, atmosphere and imagination to create a unique figurative work.
The result brings both artists' practices together: a moment first captured through Serg's lens and subsequently reimagined through Dan's eyes.
Original paintings are available in a range of sizes, with commissions discussed individually depending on the image, scale and nature of the work.
A Portrait Reimagined
A Dan & Serg portrait session can begin with photography and become something more – a photograph for yourself, a fine-art print for your home, or an original painting created from a moment captured during the sitting.
