Inspired by Club Church in Amsterdam, Church takes Dan Flores’ intricate drawing style into the world of queer nightlife. The legendary Amsterdam venue is known for its sex-positive atmosphere and ever-changing programme of fetish, bear, leather and themed club nights.

Dan fills the scene with an exuberant cast of characters - bears, leather-clad figures, dancers and club-goers tangled together across the page. Bodies overlap, encounters unfold in corners and unexpected details emerge the longer you look, turning the club into a densely populated world of its own.

Humorous, affectionate and deliberately uninhibited, Church celebrates a space where sexuality, identity and self-expression are allowed to come out and play.
