Brighton Pride is synonymous with colour, but for this collection Sergio Rodriguez strips it away.

Working in his signature black and white, Serg turns his lens towards the people who make Pride what it is. His keen eye picks out characters and fleeting moments from the spectacle around him - from the parade itself to chance encounters, embraces, conversations and celebrations spilling out onto the streets of Brighton.

Moving between candid street photography and striking impromptu portraits, the series captures the many faces of Pride: joyful, defiant, tender, provocative and unapologetically individual. Amid the crowds and celebration, Serg finds the smaller human moments - a glance, a gesture, an embrace - allowing individual personalities and connections to emerge.

By removing the rainbow colours so closely associated with Pride, attention shifts to expression, texture, light and shadow. The result is a timeless and distinctly Serg portrait of Brighton Pride: a celebration of community, freedom, individuality and human connection, captured in monochrome.
